NEW EDITED VOLUME ON GERMANOPHONE SURREALISM OUT IN MARCH 2025
A new volume of OGS, devoted to the roots and offshoots of Surrealism within the Germanophone context and edited by Cecilia Novero, will be published in March 2025. This volume celebrates Surrealism in German-speaking contexts and features a diverse range of contributions, including an original prose text by a German author, an interview, a “kind-of-a-memoire,” critical essays in German and English, and a selection of original photographs by Chicago-based artist Tom Denlinger. Contributors include Benedikt Wolf, Melanie Babenhauserheide, Jonathan P. Eburne, Raymond Spiteri, Abigail Susik, Barbara Di Noi, Douglas Cushing, Silvia Ulrich, and Jean Marie Carey. The cover features a reproduction of an artwork by Manfred Melitta Poppe (2022).
